Software that handles money the way a bank should.
Moniqora is a banking platform for Nigerian microfinance banks, lending institutions, cooperative societies and government revenue offices. It covers the everyday work of a bank, customers, accounts, tellers, lending, interbank payments, government revenue collection and thrift savings, in one secure system with a clear record of who did what and when.

What Moniqora does.
It is built as independent modules. An institution starts with the modules its licence allows and adds others later without disruption. An institution that already runs a core banking system it is happy with can use individual Moniqora modules alongside it.
Every institution on the platform is fully separate from every other. Staff and customers see the institution's own name, logo and colours, on the web and in a phone app of the institution's own.
Core Banking
Branches, products, customers and their documents, accounts, tellers, approvals and the end of the day, with a general ledger whose closed periods stay closed.
Accounts & NIBSS
Account servicing and statements, outbound and inbound interbank transfers and their charges, settlement reconciliation, and the institution's own payment providers.
Credit & Risk
Loan products, applications and decisions, booking, payout, repayments, collections, bad loans and credit bureau checks, each step posted to the ledger.
Government Revenue
Taxes, levies and fees collected for government bodies through banks, then remitted, reconciled and settled, with the books proven to balance.
Cooperative & Ajo
Savings societies and thrift groups: members, field collectors, contributions, rotations, loans against savings and the members' own view of their position.
Customer self-service
A white-label app in the institution's own name and colours, on the web, Android and iPhone, showing members and borrowers only what applies to them.
Regulatory Reporting
The returns an institution owes its regulators, prepared from closed books, approved by a second person and recorded as submitted.
Compliance
Anti-money-laundering screening and monitoring, currency and suspicious transaction reports, and case handling.
Reports & dashboards
Executive graphs of financial position, live dashboards for each role and a report library, every figure traceable to the transactions behind it.
Built for the people who run it.
- Microfinance banks: unit, state and national
- Microfinance institutions, finance companies and licensed money lenders
- Cooperative societies and thrift (ajo) groups
- State and local government revenue offices and their collecting banks
The rules it keeps.
- Each institution's data is scoped to that institution in every query. No report, cache or export crosses that line.
- Sensitive actions need a second person. Nobody approves their own work, and every action leaves a record.
- Every transaction posts to the general ledger exactly once. A recorded entry is never altered, only corrected by a further entry.
- Sign-in is through Authly, with per-institution sign-in strength and session policy.
The same six rules apply to everything we build. How we build
